First Thursdays are changing to Sundays on the Square! This series of free, family-friendly events include a diverse lineup of live music, visual artist installations, and a local arts market set up on Fayetteville’s historic downtown square.

An immersive and multi-sensory dance party and laser light show set in downtown Fayetteville’s picturesque Upper and Lower Ramble.
Fayetteville Strawberry Festival • Saturday, May 17th 6-9pm & Sunday, May 18th Noon- 6:00pm
This FREE and fun-filled kickoff to summer will keep you busy all afternoon with multiple stages with live performances, pie competitions, seasonal menu items and specialty cocktails, and so much more. You can purchase fresh strawberries from local farms, try a variety of mouthwatering strawberry desserts, learn something new at food demonstration stations, and embrace your creative side with make-and-take art activities led by talented artists.
Fayetteville Falltoberfest • Sunday, October 5th Noon-6:00pm
Celebrate fall in the Ozarks with Fayetteville’s Falltoberfest! Attendees will find multiple stages filled with a variety of performances, a beer garden with plenty of seasonal cocktails, the entertaining pageantry of Mr. Oktoberfest and Dogtoberfest, and the return of ‘Spirit-Free Sipping’, a non-alcoholic cocktail showcase. This FREE festival will include multiple art installations, hands-on activities, and seasonal celebrations lined up and down Fayetteville’s famous Dickson Street.
Lights of the Ozarks
Bundle up your people and bring them to the Downtown Fayetteville Square to experience the magic of the Lights of the Ozarks! The season kicks off on the Friday before Thanksgiving with an energetic countdown and ceremonial flip of the giant switch followed by live music and merriment. This holiday light festival is free and open to the public every night from 5:00pm until 1:00am through January 1st. Special events during Lights of the Ozarks will include:
