Sunday, May 18th, 2025
Downtown Fayetteville Coalition (DFC) will bring the Fayetteville Strawberry Festival back to the historic downtown square on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from noon to 6pm. Last year’s festival brought over 10,000 people to this free and family-friendly celebration of summer.
DFC is excited to announce two special additions to this year’s event. First, there will be a honky tonk street dance on Saturday night, May 17th, to kick off the weekend festivities. Attendees will be able to two-step to Tara and the Gift Horses and The Pink Stones on the historic downtown square from 6-9pm. Second, a BERRY special guest, Murial Fahrion, the original creator and illustrator of the iconic Strawberry Shortcake franchise, will be onsite Sunday with Strawberry Shortcake memorabilia and merchandise for sale.
For Sunday’s main event, downtown Fayetteville will be bustling with things to see and do including two stages filled with music, games, and competitions. Enjoy performances on the main stage from Arkansauce, Copper Flats, and Ashtyn Barbaree. Cheer on our local talent at the Artosphere Community Stage with hip hop, a cappella, and a barber shop quartet. Sign up your costumed canine to walk in the Hounds Lounge Dog Paw-ty Parade. Test your baking skills by entering Karst Bakery’s Pie Competition. Grab fresh strawberries from a local farm or satisfy your sweet tooth with our long list of dessert vendors. Shop at the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, Cureate’s Future of Food Expo, and the Makers Market on Meadow.
